Wow I am tired. I have done ALOT today. I still have alot more I want to get done by the end of the week.
Today I did:Load of Dishes - washed, dried, and put awayCleaned the cabinetsCleaned the side of the fridgeCleaned the front of the stovePicked up trashVacuumed main levelCleaned kitchen tablePut together diaper cartWent thru Caseye's clothes that were in her room and took stuff outPut C-Bean's clothes awayPicked out clothes for both girls to put in the dresser in our roomCooked DinnerMade CookiesPut a load of clothes in the dryer
We had Farmer's Casserole for dinner. It was pretty much like the hashbrown casserole that we normally eat. The topping was better tho. I'll try to post the recipe tomorrow. I also made Chocolate Butter Cookies to eat afterwards. They were alright. I put chocolate chips in the tops of them. LOL.
Our tour of the maternity center went well yesterday. I like the maternity center ALOT better than NKC's. I only wish that they had the whirlpool tubs in the rooms like NKC. So that was a bummer. But the rooms are very nice ... And they are LDRP rooms so I wont' have to move rooms at all while I'm there. Yay!! Everyone that I met in the center was really nice, so that made me happy. They are alot more into the security thing than NKC .. Which makes me happy. You have to be buzzed in to the center, then sign in and out every time you come or go, have a visitor tag, etc etc etc. It's all worth it tho. And they really embrace the idea of rooming in and even give you, hubby and the baby an hour and a half after birth to form your bonds, breastfeed if you so choose, and all of that. I think that is awesome. I am actually getting more and more excited to have this little booger.
The dr's appointment went well. I saw a new dr yesterday ... DrM. I liked her. She was a little loud, but she was alot nicer than the last chick that I saw. I still like my DrH tho. I actually lost a pound this time around. Oops. She thinks it was because I was throwing up and had diarrhea Sunday nite. Other than that, she said that I am measuring fine, heartbeat is fine, and that everything looks good. Yay!! Tho I am still paranoid about the whole 34weeks thing coming up. But, C-Bean isn't engaged (like Caseye was at this time) so I think everything will be just fine. Just one of those things that lingers in the back of my mind.
Sunday was not a very good day for me. I woke up and had really bad indigestion and felt really nauseous. For the first few hours after I woke up I felt like I was going to vomit, but never did. It went away, so we went to Mama's for lunch. No biggie. I was fine, and had no more nausea or anything until about 10pm that nite. Around then the nausea and indigestion came back. I ate some Tums and laid in bed ... Well, partially laid .. partially sat up. Finally felt like I was going to have to go potty around 11pm. Went in and sat on the potty. Eventually I went potty and threw up. *sighs* Thought I would feel better. Not so much. Around 1145pm, I made another trip into the bathroom. Went potty and threw up again. Crawled into bed around 1215am ... And don't think I fell asleep until around 1am. It was not a good nite.
And then Caseye decided to wake up at 5am that morning. She at least went back to bed. She came in and laid in our bed. Slept in until 8am. So that was nice. We didn't do much on Monday because I was so worn out. My mom came over for awhile. She was going to take Caseye while we went to the hospital.
I FINALLY got ahold of someone from Jenny's insurance and reported the accident. I had tried calling her actual agent .. Left 2 messages asking her to call me back and she never did. So I just called the 800 number on Monday. The girl I talked to was really really nice about the whole thing. She thought it was pretty funny that I was parked in Jenny's driveway and she managed to hit me. So that made me chuckle. She asked me where I was thinking about having it estimated, or if I even knew anywhere to go. I told her that I had planned to go to CarStar or Gladstone Dodge. We were then talking about everything and I had mentioned earlier to her that I had Caseye who was 2 and that we have another one due in about 6 weeks. She set it up for a guy to come by and do a home estimate. That was a lifesaver! She said he would call in 24-48hours. Not even 2hours later the guy called me and said he could be there at noon. He was here at 1130am. I couldn't believe it. He did an estimate on my car and it was around $1821. I was shocked it was that much. But now I can go get my car fixed once we get the check in the mail. I have to call and set up an appointment to take my car to the shop once we get the check. The assessor said that they would probably schedule me to come in on a Monday, and it wouldn't be done until that Thursday or Friday. Yes, that long. The front fender and door have to be replaced. *sighs* At least it is getting done. And they will cover the cost of a rental car if we choose to get one. We probably will, just so we can be sure to have a car in case something happens. We just have to pay for gas and for the insurance.
However, I am not sure if I would be able to drive it since I am not 25. In our state, you have to be 25 to rent a car. I guess Chris can always drive it. Just a pain ... Regardless of who drives it.
I can already guess that Caseye is going to be a huge pain with the pacis and bottles once C-Bean comes. Especially if she uses them. I disinfected all of them last nite and this morning she was throwing a fit because she wanted a paci and I wouldn't give one to her. I did give her a bottle, but didn't put anything in it, so she could play with it and feed her babies and such. I am glad that I didn't wait to check and see how much bottle stuff we had tho. We are in DESPERATE need of Avent and Playtex nipples. I was amazed at how many we don't have. I didn't think it was that bad, but we have 1 Avent nipple and 2 Playtex nipples. Eek!
Anyway, I think that's it for an update. I think I got everything covered.
